Why preparation is key
According to the NZ Civil Defense, New Zealand’s geographical positioning means there is an 80% chance that many of us will experience an earthquake exceeding magnitude 8, within the next 50 years. Add to this changes in climate, an increased chance of landslides and our most common hazard – flooding, and you have a very real need to be prepared.
We understand that purchasing a survival bag may feel excessive, but protecting yourself and your loved ones is far from a ‘luxury’. With just one purchase you can rest assured, knowing you have done what you can to protect yourself and your loved ones should an emergency happen.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes your survival bags different from others on the market?
Our bags focus on practical essentials, offering more key survival items rather than spending on flashy branding. We include high-quality tools, clean water provisions, and comprehensive medical supplies.
How long will the food and water in your survival kits last?
The food we provide has a shelf life of up to 10 years, ensuring your family has an energy supply during an emergency. Our water solution is portable and light, you can use it to drink any dirty water around you.
Water filter straw or sterilization tabs?
We chose a water filter straw over tablets for our survival packs because it provides a more immediate and versatile solution, allowing for continuous filtration of water from multiple sources without waiting for chemicals to take effect, making it both faster and more convenient in emergency situations.
Tabs can also run out fast. The straw takes a long time to lose its filtration abilities.
Will I have everything I need to sustain my family for a week?
Yes, our kits are designed to cover all basic needs for at least a week. That time could easily be stretched by rationing. Other than the 10-year shelf life for the food, all other items should last as long as you need them to.
Are these bags suitable for natural disasters specific to New Zealand, like earthquakes and floods?
Absolutely. Our survival bags are tailored for disasters common in New Zealand, providing key items such as power sources, multi-tools, and personal hygiene supplies.
Are the survival bags easy to carry in an emergency?
Yes, our bags are designed to be lightweight yet sturdy, making them easy to transport quickly in an emergency situation. This is another reason why you won’t find any unnecessary extras – we didn’t want people to be weighed down by anything they don’t absolutely need.

About Us
Since starting families of our own, we’ve become increasingly determined to do everything we can to take care of ourselves and the people we love. This purpose, combined with an increase in natural disasters and New Zealand’s vulnerability to earthquakes, were the catalysts for us to ensure we were prepared. And for us to help prepare others, too.
As we looked into available options on the market, we were unimpressed by the lack of essential items in many survival kits. We knew we could do better by creating a compact bag containing high quality necessities to get you through.
Ideally, you’ll never need the bag. But a one-time purchase to know you’re sorted feels pretty priceless to us.
